Slendertube Skyrocket (Ipomopsis tenuituba; in the phlox family, Polemoniaceae) is a flowering plant native to rocky mountain slopes in much of the western United States from California to Colorado. Photographed at Winnnemucca Lake in Mokelumne Wilderness, off of Highway 88 near Carson Pass, in Eldorado National Forest, Sierra Nevada, California, USA.
