Marble Canyon. Kootenay National Park, British Columbia, Canada.
Marble Canyon embraces Tokumm Creek just above its confluence with the Vermilion River, at the north end of Kootenay National Park in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, Canada. For over 500 million years before tectonic forces thrust up the Rocky Mountains, a shallow tropical sea deposited carbonate sediments that became the limestone and dolomite rock seen in Kootenay's "Marble Canyon."Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
