The Maroon Bells are two adjacent peaks of the Elk Mountains: snow-covered Maroon Peak 14,163 feet on left, seen behind adjacent North Maroon Peak 14,019 feet, in Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness of White River National Forest.
