A boardwalk of the Overland Track cuts through Du Cane Gap in Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania, Australia. The Tasmanian Wilderness was honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, expanded in 1989. Mostly native to Australia where they dominate the tree flora, Eucalyptus is a diverse genus of flowering trees (and a few shrubs) in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae.
